The Sheep, Goat & Swine Showmanship Clinic will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Gorman High School. There is no entry fee, and this event is open to all 4-H and FFA youth in Eastland County. Sheep and Goats will be from 8:00am - 10:00am. Swine will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm. The Eastland County 4-H members will be decorating the Eastland County Courthouse Christmas Tree on Saturday, November 23rd at 10:00am. All decorations will be provided.

The Eastland County Pecan Show will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Eastland County Courthouse. Judging will begin at 9:00am. The District 8 Farm & Ranch Seminar will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Cook's Fish Barn in Comanche, TX. Registration will begin at 7:00am. The program will begin at 7:30am and conclude at 3:00pm. Registration fee is $50.00 and includes lunch and handout materials. The program will offer 7 hours of Pesticide CEU's - 2 hours in General, 2 hours in IPM, 2 hours in Laws & Regulations and 1 hour in Drift. The Eastland County Extension Office will be closed Wednesday, January 15th, Thursday, January 16th and Friday, January 17th for the Eastland County Livestock Show and Creative Arts Contest.
