Connecting Agriculture and Health – From the Ground Up conference set for January 10, 2024 in Waco.

The Connecting Agriculture and Health – From the Ground Up conference will be held in conjunction with the Blackland Income Growth Conference on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. The conference will be held at the Extraco Events Center – Base located at 4601 Bosque Blvd, Waco, TX and is sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

Conference topics will relate to agriculture and health. The focus of the conference is to provide individuals with factual and reliable information so they can make informed decisions regarding health and nutrition for their families.

The conference will begin at 8:50 am (doors open at 8:30 am) and conclude at 4:00 pm. Cost for the conference is $50 and $25 for full-time students. Please pre-register by January 3, 2024. Pre-registration is available online at https://agriliferegister.tamu.edu/adch-ev-003. A catered luncheon is included in the registration.

Application has been made for 5 continuing education contact hours to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc., and 5 hours of clinical professional education to the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Teachers will be provided with 5 hours of CPE credit and others may request a  general certificate for 5 clock hours of education.
