Eastland County 4-H will be decorating the Eastland County Courthouse and Courthouse Annex Christmas Trees on Thursday, November 21st at 4:00pm. We will meet at the Eastland County Courthouse to decorate that tree first. Afterwards, we will walk across the street to the Courthouse Annex building to decorate that tree. All Eastland County 4-H members, parents, and siblings are encouraged to join us for this community service opportunity! The Eastland County Pecan Show will be held on Monday, December 2nd at 7:30am at the Eastland County Courthouse. Entries are due to the Eastland County Extension Office by 5PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Entries will consist of 40 pecans of a single variety. You may enter multiple varieties, but only one entry per variety will be accepted (ie. you may have a Burkett entry and a Mayhaw entry, but you cannot have two Burkett entries). The Eastland County 4-H Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 1:15-5:30pm. We will be watching a movie at the Majestic Theater in Eastland, followed by a gift exchange and Christmas games/activities at the Judge Scott Bailey Center. Rabbit Validation will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 4:00-6:00pm at the ECLRA Show Grounds (475 FM 3101 Eastland, TX). All market rabbits must be present. Breeding rabbits do not need to be present, but parents must text the following information to TJ Cummings at 254-629-2222: Exhibitor's name and each rabbit's breed, age, sex, and tattoo.
